SG - Iverson/Craw

SF - McGrady/Mo

PF - Smoove/Draft Pick

C - Horf/Draft Pick/Siler

Both former superstars who have something to prove. If they stay healthy we could possibly go to the Finals. Better than going next season with Craw starting.

In short...no. Heck no! Exactly what we don't need with a new HC, Joe's status up in the air, and a "new" offense being installed. AI will want major minutes...he and his attitude arent worth that anymore.

AI has been completely humbled dude. And I would give him minutes over Craw and Bibby.

I love AI (my closet Sixer fandom showing), but I'm not interested in trying to resuscitate his glory days here. T-Mac has shown an interest in limiting his minutes if it's best for the team, but AI's mindset is still stuck in 2001-Land. He wants to come back, sure, but primarily to earn the money he can't make in his favorite casinos anymore. And AI of course brings his own offense to the table, head coaches' plans be damned. He needs to go to Europe/South America/China and wild out over there, given his health at this stage of his career, if he wants money, fame, no haters, no practice, and minutes.

As much as I love A.I., as already mentioned he never plays within an offense. If this was Woody's Iso heavy offense then A.I. would be perfect but not under Drew. I much rather sign T-mac and let him start at the two guard spot.

Yep. Antoine and Allen. You won't find two bigger shot chuckers that play as little defense as those two. There is a reason these guys have always been losers, with the exception of Allen's short run of success relative to wins in Philly when Larry Brown coached him.

I cannot think of a worse idea than bringing AI in here. Actually, that's the worst thing any team in the league could do...in terms of their ability to win...ticket sales is a different matter.

How about this team? It would be the NBA's all time worst chucker team.

Bringing AI and TMac here smacks of the move to bring Mose Malone and Reggie Theus here in the 80s. Worked good on paper. On the court both players were just interested in giving half effort and still getting paid like their glory days. We finished just a few games over .500 when on paper we thought we'd challenge for the title.

If we got Deke to come back, we could advertise it as the resurrection...or more acurately the third resurrection, as I am quite sure Deke's mummified remains were brought back to life at least two times hence. And that's the reason to do it . . . ticket sales. It would at least initially peak interest in him and the team. But it would probably stunt the growth of Teague once again.

The casual Hawks fan needs to be "excited". AI would at least excite those fans, and possibly bring in more money to the organization in the short term.
