The wait is ending - Finally!

We have waited and waited, sometimes impatiently. We've watched and

listened to all that's going on with our beloved Hawks. So many new faces

and so many new changes. Yet, we hear, over and over, that this is the

same old Hawk team, less Josh.

Are we the same? Are we much weaker, due to the loss of J Smith, as some

maintain? Are we destined to have a losing season and be buried @ the

bottom of the standings?

Can this "new" old team of Hawks shoot? Rebound? Play defense? Are we

doomed without that new guy in Detroit?

Will we, as Hawk fans, throw up our hands and give up after just a few games

as the team struggles to learn a new system under our new coach? Will the

new pieces fit together and become part of a team or, as some have suggested,

are they just some trade pieces, destined to be gone by the trade deadline and

not really caring, one way or the other, whether the Hawks win or lose?

All off season we here have talked and talked, cussed and discussed this new

"old" Hawks team and all that has happened. Now, the talk is over. It's a

new season. Games count. Many Hawk fans will now have our team under

the microscope, looking for anything and everything, both good and bad.

GO HAWKS !!

Woke up today and remembered the game is on tonight. Suddenly, am starting to get psyched. I'm really looking forward to seeing us play Detroit. When Josh jacks up a 3 and misses I want to hear Nique say "That's what he does." (He couldn't say it when Josh was playing for us.)

Nope.

Not going to happen.

Why?

Because, when Josh shoots against the Hawks, every shot will go in.

(At least, he's that confident, otherwise he wouldn't shoot, would he?)

Those "Experts" have removed the Hawks from playoff contention and have

added Detroit, simply because of Josh. They think he's that good. That he

will carry the Pistons to victory, game after game and for sure when he is

going against his old team.

Guess we will just have to wait and see.
