I started this thing ... It's just as well I end it

with the final pick in the draft Capstone's Crew selects

PJ Tucker 6'7 SF /SG  / PF

our final piece is a versatile 3 and D guy who can come in and defend multiple positions.  He ca shut down shooting guards and small forwards on the perimeter and is even able to play bigger and with his strength can take on power forwards in the post.  He will never get you more then 10 points but he is not needed for his offense.  Even though he is not a big scorer you can not play off him because he is an excellent three point shooter.   He fits well with our roster and we are very excited to have him

My last pick came down to Asik, Mozgov, Chandler, Olynyk, Poeltl and a young unknown Bulls player. I really don't care for Asik or Mozgov.

I looked at Olynyk as a stretch four but I really wanted one the higher picked ones. Taj was never a thought but another player on that Bulls team was; Cristiano Felicio.

I thought Chandler ( win now defender ) or Poeltl ( young defender ) were my best options for defense; but if someone had taken Poeltl, I may have reached for Cristiano.

That is a nice list. At the end of the day there is still a lot of talent left; and we will all probably regret not taking someone we considered.

Wilson Chandler was a thought but after drafting so many young wings, the thought passed quickly. I can say something similar about Roy Hibbert and my young bigs.

Not only that (picked by pimp), but David Lee Roth went in the 1st round of the 80s Rock Vocalist draft. Good eye! I'll go replace him.

LD was Draft-eligible as long as he's employed as a head/assistant coach somewhere. I was actually hoping to take Monty Williams but I don't think the Spurs have officially hired him yet.

Payne was knocked off my radar by Oladipo. Some people are raving about Luwawu but he seems like a long way off, if he gets good at all. Skal is so jammed up in Sacramento he may never see more than 15 minutes a game while he is there or someone gets traded. Meyers has done ok but I was looking for potential stars once I got my 1st eight or so players set.

I was reaching a lot in this draft; but I wanted to try and add more star power to Harden and Wall.

Ughhh. I should not have taken Kilpatrick last and picked up another 5. ANY legit big team is going to crush me inside. Hopefully the combo of aminu, illyasova, and favors (all 6'9'' +) will do an adequate job on the glass.

Old saying was rebounding and defense wins championships. Things are changing some as three teams, Phoenix, Denver, NY Knicks,  in the top ten in rebounding finished under .500. But not so much that rebounding does not matter as both Cleveland and Golden State were in the top ten in rebounding.
