He is a usable player..The others are not

Faried could fit in as a backup PF. He can’t stretch the floor so I don’t know if we would really play him though.

Why already have "usable players".  Is he any better than Bazemore?  Production wise, it would not appear so.

Maybe you missed the trade.  It was for an unprotected 1st and Chandler

Well I never heard The media never say for a fact he was going to LA. It was just a prediction based on him sayin "he'd like to play there". lol. And its the sole reason Indiana traded him..He told them he wouldnt resign there...Hell, I predicted it to. lol.

Thatll work...

The real question is how good can a healthy OKC be.. Especially if they could dump Carmelo.

We have a hole at backup PF. Not to mention he’s one of the better offensive rebounders in the league which is important as we are transitioning to a team that puts up a lot of perimeter shots. He could fit here. Not my first option, but he could fit.

I think u have to wait until after free agency to see who thy get for their bench ... they had no 3 point shooting last year beside George and a inconsistent Abrinis ... they need to pick up some shooters if they want to be successful

It's not about the players, it's about the pick we would be getting to take on their salary.

To @Peoriabird point, of the 3, Chandler would be at least a productive player that can be a backup SF to Prince, Faried is all rebounding energy and not much else, Arthur can take a medical retirement.

I think backup SF is a greater need.

JC starts - Spellman and Moose and Prince as small ball 4.

Yes, we have a lot of wings but they are 'smallish'

I would only do the Chandler trade to be honest.  Not the other 2...Certainly wouldn't do the Plumlee trade.  We have enough picks

Guys we should be targeting is one of Smart and his bull dog d otherwise KCP and his decent 3-D... as well as Nerlans Noel.  I would take a 2 year flyer on Noel to let him show if he has some game or not.

Baze, Bembry, Dorsey, Hueter - who gets pushed out for Smart and KCP?

We can never have enough picks. (We may have enough for 2019) An unprotected pick in 2020 would also work.

We still have Bembry who could play forward. He’s not the longest player, but he does have good size for the 3. However, if JC or Dedmon go down..we only have 3 bigs at that point.

We can have as many as 6 picks next year combined with the 5 we just used.  That's 11 picks in 3 years.  Time to team build and have faith in the players you already have.

There are plenty of bigs on the market

I see Hunter as being a 6th man ... Bembry is a specialist who will prob be a spot minute player ... Dorsey is a dleaguer and Baz is not long for this team ... I see him gone by trade deadline.

It's going to be funny when you change your tune when the Hawks do what they are actually going to do, which is not add any players of significance in free agency.  They are going to make a deal for bad money to get a future draft pick.  Travis Schlenk no desire to compete this year or next year.

Yep.  Now the Cleveland pick is definitely in jeopardy of not conveying as a 1st.

They still have some decent talent and Love will have to step up ... hopefully they have enough to stay above 10th worst team ... although I doubt it ... Lue isn’t a very good coach and they were getting killer this year when he was off the floor
