Until they get Leonard, Lakers got nothing for a healthy Houston either. Pelicans and Minny will be pressing people hard next season also as a 2nd tier in the West. I think he needs Leonard just to get to the Western Conference Championship.

The only player drafted in the 2014 top 20 that is actually worth that kind of contract is Joel Embiid.  Nobody else that was taken in the top 10 in 2014 should be getting this kind of money.

Not necessarily. For instance. Memphis hasnt offered a 2nd contract to a 1st rd pick since Mike Conley in 2007.lol..
