I've put up with this race to the bottom for two years, so it really doesn't bother me to see a third. Indeed, it could conceivably set up that we would see one of the most dramatic turnarounds in NBA history, having that asset plus all that cap space for free agency.

Well if we end up with a super early pick for the obvious reasons would hope for a top two because of Wiseman and Ant. Yeah, I know, picky, picky but feel a whole lot of us see it that way.

Shiiiiii, based on our record right now I'd be pissed if we didn't end up with a top w pick 'cause that'd mean the lotto screwed us (basically).

Anyways, I look at it as NBA currency for trade (since I want no more rookies).

Yeah, this is already a lost season so I am fine with tanking and landing a top 3 pick. This draft has a top 2 players, Wiseman and Edwards, after that goes down in talent by a lot. Wiseman is the best fit, Edwards might be the best player. If we fail to land one of these 2 it will be a major fail.

I think our vets that left covered up alot for LP.  We need a new coach and a couple good mid level vets to go with all the young talent we have.  We have no direction from the bench.

I'd look to time getting a new coach with when we intend to spend some of our loot.... that might be this off-season, but as we've discussed extensively already, that could very well be the 2021 off-season. Bring in a name-brand coach whose very presence is going to be an asset in attracting the FAs you want to seem attractive to.

I think that's the exact opposite.  I think our coach is better with decent vets and young players.  I don't think any coach would give this team more than 5 or so wins and Pierce could have those if the players executed better in the fourth.  

I'm still going the patience route with everyone.

For a franchise rebuild, I thought 5 years is the average to contend (high drafts picks/grooming them over the years, and accumulate quality vets).  We will be year 3 with a top 10 picks and I feel like we need two more years.  
 

IF the season ended today, I would be pissed if we didn’t get the 1st overall pick.  When was the last time we had the #1 pick?  If the draft doesn’t consist of a bonefide superstar, trade down or get a veteran superstar.  Wait for the 2021 free agency class

We had 6 returning players from last season, of those 6 - 1 was suspended (Collins), 1 constantly injured (Huerter), 1 dissapeared (Len) and 1 old (Vince). That leaves Trae and Bembry.
Of the new players:
3 are rookies, the 3 vets have been mostly injured and have offered squat.
Parker is what he is as an offensive player, Jones sucks.

We have not had a full compliment of starters and rotation players all season. Collins is back, Len and Parker out with injury, now Trae is hurt. It's hard to get any consistency regarding minutes, roles, expectations etc. Having said that some of LP's rotations/lineups are head scratchers.

If we get a top 2 pick, I'm all for keeping it for the two main guys...assuming of course someone else doesn't come from out of nowhere to make a legit claim for the 1st or 2nd pick.  3rd or higher we use it in a trade for an established player.  I still believe in Hunter but I don't want another pick like him with a top 5 pick.  I'd like to think we're a little more poised towards building a contender than staying put for another non-sure thing lottery pick.

I think that is the best outcome for this season at this point.  We aren’t competing this year.  Let’s get a core guy added and upgrade our vets this offseason.

I think the suckier this season continues to be, it will also be motivation for the young kids to work hard in the off season.
