So let me get this straight 

Schlenk traded  

Jeff teague for a 1st round pick that tuned into Taurean Prince

He traded Prince for brooklyns 1st round pick #17 in 2019, and 2020 brooklyn pick and Allen Crabbe

He then traded one of those picks to move up to get Deandre Hunter at 4.  

Then traded Crabbe for Teague back and Traevon Graham

Then traded the other 1st round pick for Clint Capela

So in total he somehow turned Jeff Teague into Jeff Teague, Traevon Graham, Clint Capela and a pick that got us Deandre Hunter

This is his Danny Ferry moment. The one thing Ferry had on TS was his trades were always wins. TS been having a rough spell of trades that don't involve draft picks or draft prospects. 

This was his 1st clear victory. This one will make us eastern conference contenders for awhile. We need more though but we are in a good place at the moment

This would be a smart thing to do so you don't take a chance at owing him anything extra.  Just eat that little 2.5 mil and call it a day it isn't hurting us.

I don't think so i think for us to owe it to him we would have to win 52 games even after he is cut.   We still owe him his guarantee of 2.5 mil.  But theirs no chance he gets that other 7.5 mil from us that i can think of.

What a freaking coup for TS and all it cost was a Brooklyn 1st where the likely pick wouldn't even be in the rotation next year. Wow!

People need to realize about the importance of this deal. We got a young center on a reasonable contract that will be around when our young guys are developed, at a mid round pick cost, this is a hell of a move.

If we do not lose our head on the offseason and add some pieces that can help I think is sure to say that we are a playoff team next year and a threat to conference finals in 2 -3 years.

stay with your plan Travis and round the team on 2021.

now we are on the radar of some free agents

I liked what Schlenk did because no way we needed to bring along 3 first round picks in the same rookie season. Hands already full with 2.
