This is the last time I'm gonna put up a disclaimer.  Cooper is NOT Trae Young.  Trae has a jump shot.  As far as playmaking ability,  Cooper MIGHT be better than Trae.   The difference is their INTENT at the rim.  I said this before, Trae finishes at the rim for HIS shot, unless its a predetermined lob to a big.  Coop finishes for YOUR shot.  He lays it up as a very, very last resort.  This means he has a wide array of finishes at his disposal.  Again, Trae is the best passer in the NBA, but Coop MIGHT be better.  Thats saying something about Travis Schlenk's acumen at finding these players.  He has the two best passers in the NBA on the Hawks roster.

Cooper is also a much better athlete..

Can’t be any more impressed with Coop.  Excellent change of pace, patience, squatting defensively with good anticipation.  Kid is for real.
