The part that has me concerned was that it seemed to be both the Hawks intention as well as Cam's for him to play in the Summer League... until it wasn't.

I believe Cam tweeted something just a week ago about the Hawks SL team being like the USA Olympic team (implying he'd be on it).

Kind of guy who optimistically might project to be the next 3rd SF/PF (a la Solomon Hill) were he to get a 2-way this season, and impress.

Yeah.  It seems like those are the four they are promoting.  Is it me, or has Eric Moreland been on the Hawks summer league team for like 20 years now?

Even an Exhibit 10 is a massive upgrade for Schofield compared to his gleague salary last year

Is there a limit to the # of exhibit 10 contracts?  They have the kid from Dayton already on an exhibit 10.  If they can get Schofield on an exhibit 10 and have his rights for College Park, that would be good.

Not sure that there are. I recall last season the Knicks signed up Skal and several others. But it doesn't really mean that much--my understanding is that it only obligates the player to play for the G-League team instead of playing in Europe. Doesn't prevent another NBA team from signing him.

It doesn't appear to be:

An Exhibit 10 contract is a one-year deal worth the minimum salary that guarantees the player will receive a camp invite. Fall, for instance, can either have his Exhibit 10 converted into a two-way contract, or will be waived. If he is waived, the player will be offered $50,000 to sign with the G League affiliate of whomever waved them.
