But to be fair, Gallo looked like that too to start the season. But at least we knew what We'd get from.Gallo on offense.

At that point, the offense will stall. Not if you keep making midrange shots. Basketball wasn't always played behind the 3 point line, and they scored a lot of points. In the playoffs, you need people who can get you tough buckets inside the arc, or get to the FT line. I love the fact that both Trae and Dejounte got 8 FT attempts today so far. That means that both of our guards are attacking and not only getting points in the paint, they're going to the line and getting points as well. The guy that may become our top 3 point threat is . . . John Collins. Now we have 2 guys who can handle the ball, score on their own, and find other people. What happens if Collins ups his 3 point volume to over 5 per game? He's been a high 30% shooter from 3, so that's around what Huerter shot, on 5.6 threes attempted per game. I still expect to see Trae's off the ball 3 point attempts increase with Murray in the mix.
Bonkers
I like how Murray goes back to get the offensive/defensive rebounds...something else Huerter was terrible at Edited October 6, 2022 by Bonkers
nathan2331
This team needed Murray's addition. So long as we can stay healthy we can be the best team in the East.

Bogi's availability may be an ongoing problem for us this season and Griffin is potentially our best option to replace his shooting in the lineup. He should be getting minutes in these preseason game to see what he can and can't do. I don't think Griffin is in the 1st 8. I think even Martin is ahead of him in the rotation at the moment. 1 minute ago, macdaddy said: Martin hits the floor before AJ. I need Trae to average close to 2 steals per game this year, just like all of the other great point guards have ( outside of Steve Nash ).

Griffin is definely not a top 8 player for us, but his skillset is useful off the bench if Bogi isn't playing. I like Martin's game from summer league, but Griffin's shooting abilty can be a difference maker.
Guest
Bucks have taken 11 more shots but we're still up by 14. We've held them to 40% shooting. I'll take it.
