Heat going all-in to trade for Kevin Durant or Donovan Mitchell

The perpetually title-or-bust Heat, not surprisingly, are all-in on scouring the league to try to manufacture extra first-round picks to boost their chances of completing a trade for Kevin Durant or Utah’s Donovan Mitchell. But more teams than not are asking themselves this question: If we trade for Durant, how long before he wants to go somewhere else?

The $100,000,000 over five years starts at about $17,050,000.  That's a fair starting salary for Hunter if he plays lights out defense and is the 4th option.

 

What has he shown us that suggest that he's worth that much?  He's been injured ... and Alot.

Bogi signed a 4 year 72 Million dollar deal .... 

while...he was a 15.1, 3.4, 3.4  shooting 38% from three. 

Hunter is a 13.3, 3.3, 1.3 player while shooting 38% from three. 

His play is not in the same ball park as Bogi's and he's a poor rebounder for his position... and he's often injured.   It's a lot of risk with the Hawks offering him that kind of money.

I'm just telling you what he is most likely not to sign. I'd be estactic if he signed that. You have to remember the huge salary cap increase happening in a couple of seasons. Agents and players are aware of this so these slight over pays will be very beneficial to a team going forward.

I think when it comes time to make an offer, we'd have to see who else we could sign for 5 years 100 Million.

Last year, Mikal Bridges signed a 4 year 90 Million dollar deal. 

Is Hunter in that ballpark?

My bad!  I didn't notice the change in signs to - and x versus +.

Answer is 3. I didn't notice there was only one cookie in the last one so it's 3 instead of six.

15 - 6 = 9 x 2 = 18.

P.S. 18 is Onyeka Okongwu's number for whatever that is worth.
I think the cone and the cookie would have to be in parentheses to convert it the way you were thinking (plus, your second entry should be a six not a four).  Correct?
