4 out of 5 starters will now miss at least multiple weeks this season due to injury. Unreal. I'm so glad we have an owner that will not worry about the luxury tax and resigned Delon Wright, kept Kevin Huerter and signed a real center with the MLE to give us a great bench in case of injury.

No Clint means

1. Trae better start playing like a Max Player.

2. OO gets a chance to show his improvement, or Not.

3. Travis is on the clock. DO SOMETHING about our horrendous Big Man situation for crying out loud. Id take a look at Dwight Howard at this point..

4. EVERYONE has to play defense and hold their own. No Capela to save them.(Good luck with that)

5. The next couple of weeks should be interesting to say the least.....................

time to tank!  Seriously, this team is garbage anyway and has zero chance of getting close to a title even at 100% health.  Time to rebuild.   Sit Trae and DJM for the year.  Trade Collins, Clint and Hunter for picks and let's get this tank rolling.

The season has come off the rails.

I really don’t like the direction after seemingly a great start.

Injuries, arguments, bad losses.

I’m hoping our forwards are completely changed out by trade deadline.

 Think about where we were before Trae and DJM tried to clown and embarrass the young Rockets in Houston that night and think about how things have gone since. Karma?

In his eight prior seasons Clint has only played 70 games 3 times

Murray only once in 5 prior seasons

Collins only once in 5 prior seasons

Hunter never in three prior seasons

Bogi, surprisingly, twice in 5 prior seasons

Trae, twice in 4 prior seasons

So Trae is the only one batting 500.

 

I doubt the Hawks are outliers in this.  NBA season is long and people are going to miss games.  Happens to every team.

No panic. Fight through it. 

No one feels sorry for the Hawks, so we can't feel sorry for ourselves.

New play: JJ becomes the roll man in the pick and roll with Trae, until JC comes back.

There was no question this team was not built to overcome significant injuries, and despite the fact we have had to deal with significant injuries every single season the last three years we still rolled this out at the pleasure of our front office. Even without the injuries the team was playing pretty mid-ball with a slightly inflated record due to a favorable schedule. Now with injuries mounting up expect the losses to keep coming fast and furious. 

There is some serious re-adjusting that has to happen on this team because this "core" ain't it.
