Under Bud it was slow as hell.   Our pace under LP and Nate has been faster...especially this year.

Budball is a slow game.   I'm not sold on it being best for us.

Adding an execution offense to Trae is going end real bad. I have serious doubts we will get better from this firing but Nate was dead in a water. You can't justify someone the players quit on

Uptempo 3 point friendly if you got it shoot it type of flow with player movement.

I was lazy before... however...

Bud 1st season  = 13th in Pace.

Bud 2nd season = 15th in Pace

Bud 3rd season = 8th in Pace

Bud 4th season = 10th in Pace

Bud 5th season = 10th in Pace

LP's first year.... = 1st in Pace.

LP's 2nd year... = 5th in Pace

LP/Nate Year = 23rd in Pace

Nate = 20th in Pace

So far this season = 9th in Pace

All in all, this season is a faster pace than all of Bud's years by a lot....  So since the time of Bud Ball, the league has picked up the pace.  But the defensive rating for this year is the worst of all mentioned.

Before Nate was fired, they were already labelling Trae as a coach killer.  Nate's fingerprints are bigger and more resolute in this than Trae's.  Trae should stay away from Microphones and Twitter.  He should show much respect to Pronty.  He should not speak for the team for a week.  Because Trae is the villain, they will look for new ways to vilify him.

McMillan probably would’ve been fired days ago, but pro sports leagues generally frown upon signature celebrations like All-Star Games being upstaged by ugly things like firings, and Monday was a holiday. So the ax fell Tuesday night, on the eve of players returning to practice.

George Karl never won anything worthwhile.

Also, I feel like that tweet fuels Trae. I see Trae give everything he's got every day. Even defensively I feel like he is trying (even though he will never live up to be an average defender due to sizing and experience).

His game models Steph Curry, Monta Ellis, and Allen Iverson. Nothing wrong with those players and they have a place in the NBA. Until Jokic wins a championship, the anything said about Trae can be said about him.

Sitting there acting the character of young players you don't even know is just pathetic.   He's mad that know in the NBA even knows or cares who he is anymore.

Karl wasn’t saying that ish when Denver was underachieving while Jokic was an MVP.  This borderlines some kind of ism. Not sure what kind, but there is definitely some crazy bias blackballing going on.

Yes.  Exactly.

You guys can’t seriously think Trae can’t thrive in an off ball system. You also have to get away from this notion that’s is complete motion or complete pnr. The best teams mix and match elements from both lol

the hawks offense and the team was good in the beginning when he was running about 12 off ball screens for Trae a game. And that’s under Nate’s garbage system. Imagine what it will be like with a real offensive mind. I told you guys for two plus seasons now Nate stinks and isn’t the guy that NBAsupes think he is. Also told you guys a month ago Lee would be the coach. Never been one to share like the main three on here but this has been in the works for such a long time lol

Woah woah woah - only ONE guy thinks that!

And I do agree that it doesn't need to be complete motion or complete PnR - I just want an offense that is NOT predictable and lacks creativity.

I just need Trae to keep his head in the game and work.
