And regarding the holes created, those are doable in terms of filling them with capable bodies. Jmho. I have no idea why I'm so upset about the possibility of losing JJ when we are getting an Allstar in return, but we will be weak at the PF spot. OO isn't a PF neither is KAT. If we plan on keeping Capela in any KAT deal while giving up both of our fowards who can play the 3 & 4 without getting their replacements I will be highly disappointed. We will be making a similar mistake that the twolves did last year when they moved Kat to PF full time. KAT is a 5 offensively period and plays best when he is the only true big on the floor. At the 5 he provides a skillset that few bigs in the league can provide. One thing you have to remember is that KAT can shoot the hell out of the ball! Dude is an elite scorer that doesn’t need to be near room to go off and drop points. KAT will have better spacing around him in ATL than minny plus he’s never played with an elite playmaker in his career like Trae…hell Murray also may be the 2nd best playmaker he’ll ever play with. Lastly you have to have some faith in Synder and his staff developing OO into a better shooter. All the fundamentals in terms of shooting is there for OO, he just has to do it. Hawks University is officially back in ATL now that Synder is leading the way. Offensively KAT will be a 4 and 5. Nothing to worry about. The job will get done on offense….BELIEVE that. Defensively KAT is strictly a 5 as he can’t move his feet well enough to defend the perimeter so keeping him near the goal while allowing OO to roam and be our defensive anchor is key here. I’m even wondering if Synder implements some kind of zone switching defense to keep everyone in the best defensive position possible. of course the trade has to go down before we really get into all of this but I believe it’s going to happen. 4 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Not really sure who else is out there that we could bring in. center market in general seems dry. Edit: actually I see Bismack Biyombo , Dedmon, and bol bol available Bol Bol would be fun to have!
