Completely different topic but eerily similar I’ve been wanting a Hawks tattoo for about 7 years but really my whole life not for attention but because for better or worse they have big a huge part of my life for decades. A simple pacman but I want it so perfectly I don’t think I’d ever fully trust an artist but its an easy draw I think.

I've got my Pacman on my left arm. Had one of my best friends do it. We were shooting the shit so hard the whole time he messed up and made the yellow shading around orange instead. And I love it.

Y'know, one of the fun/interesting things for me about the Squawk is watching how all of our alliances shift during the different eras.  It's crazy watching us take different positions on things.  One day, we're yuk'yukin it up...then one day we are mortal enemies. lol

I'm on the Zion Trae tho.  Sorry man, I'm 100% sold on the pairing and I'll take all the toldjaso's if we get him and it flops.  For the record, I do have concerns and I'm not confident that he could succeed in any environment.  I'm not suggesting that at all and it could go downhill for him elsewhere.  Absolutely. 

This is the ideal landing spot for him though and short of adding a Giannis or Embiid type stud, he is the next best thing {potentially} for Trae.  I imagine that's why they covet him (along with the surplus of asses he and Trae would fill Statefarm with...good lord).

I know the oussiders are gonna give me hell for this....

but I think I'm coming around to the mindset of @Wretch on the Zion matter (or is it mass?). I get the risks about his health and how he's been drama since he came into the league..... but what are we doing now? We're losing and it's not even fun to watch - I'd rather at least be entertained while losing. We have a front court issue and we have a rebounding issue. He helps with both of those. 

The biggest reasons I'd welcome him here:
1. He WANTED to be here. I'd imagine he get his act together to remain somewhere he wants to be -- in regards both to his weight and the drama. I acknowledge the proximity to Magic City may make this difficult. 
2. Dre could be shipped out as part of the package.

The biggest gripe about Zion on the court is probably his rebounding, he was expected to be much better at that.  If we got him we would need to address that for sure, with a better rebounding big, like most trades suggest for this work.

That's off the court.   ON the court, I'm not blown away by his rebounding.  That's an area of weakness for us.

Just like white people shouldn't wear bright colored suits unless you're Craig Segar.    And white people over the age of 30 shouldn't wear basketball jerseys unless there is a t-shirt underneath.

if you recall Zion really wanted the Hawks to win the draft lottery and select him.  Do you remember he walked by the list of teams on the stage and when he got to ATL he reached out and touched their placard.   At the time it seemed like an obvious indicator that he wanted to play for the hawks.  

But, years later it now appears equally obvious that the reason he he touched the Hawks placard is because he thought someone had gotten some cake frosting on it and he was hoping to get a taste.

Yea, but does Presti like Trae's game? He's on a max, it would be a big commitment for them. Plus, SGA is doing a good job for them.  I don't see them making that trade in the near term.
