Premium Member georgia Posted February 9 Premium Member Report Share Posted February 9 Hawks ain’t signing anyone now. Nor will they make a trade splash in off season. Simple as that only bright side is they did start playing better when everyone is healthy
Premium Member Sothron Posted February 9 Premium Member Report Share Posted February 9 Only team we'd trade Trae to is SAS to get our firsts back plus theirs. And no I don't think that is going to happen. 2

They didn't just wilt and cave in to people trying to fleece us or get us off our price. If you can't get what you know your players value is then don't move him for a crap platter coming back. Not to bad at all it gives me hope going forward. Pretty telling when they all make moves and your not part of it. This is John Collins all over again. Wait til the Summer. Your not getting 2 firsts and a player for DJ. He's a good player but not worth that.

Popular Post bleachkit
Not to beat a dead horse, but trading not one but two unprotected picks really put us in a tough spot. We should have insisted on some modest protections at the very least.

Nope, they can't. But, that won't stop the media and other teams clamoring for Trae to be in one of there preferred markets. It's irritating, but the Hawks have failed to do their job in building a good team around Trae.

Premium Member Popular Post Diesel Posted February 9 Premium Member Popular Post Report Share Posted February 9 Right now I hold all insiders who put their lips on Fake News about that Hawks as having 0% credibility. Jake Fischer is back at it.. as soon as the deadline has passed, he's already talking about the Hawks making moves in the offseason to move Trae. JAKE FISCHER HAS ZERO CREDIBILITY IN ATLANTA. Just another puppet master pulling yall's strings. There are no Leaks. Our GM is not talking to them.. THEY ALL LIE. 4

We didn't ADD pieces to continually improve the team structure. The owner self-capped the team and expected a miracle. 33 minutes ago, Jody23 said: ...but the Hawks have failed to do their job in building a good team around Trae. 1

Popular Post NBASupes
Atlanta really don't have any interest in trading Trae Young regardless of what happens in this campaign. Trae and JJ aren't players Atlanta is considering trading regardless of how bad some several teams want for him and that includes everyone, including San Antonio. Tony has absolutely no interest in trading his cash cow and Trae is far more interested in staying than he leaving after his reps reached out around the league on his status.
Popular Post NBASupes
The media is full of shit. The Hawks weren't ever close to a trade with the Lakers for Murray. Not even close. Even further than the Pels. They even offered Austin Reaves and Atlanta declined. Klutch even tried to intervene and it came nowhere close. The only deals that appealed to Atlanta aren't on the market on right now, it's for the offseason for Murray. I don't believe Atlanta was close on most deals. That said, they made a lot of progress on several players they were targeting and they showed willingness to use the TPE they got for JC. That's was the only real progress. This media nonsense of we were close to trading pennies on a dollar to LAL is bullshit. Edited February 9 by NBASupes
