Kendrick Perkins adds some additional insanity to any Kyrie discussion:

What changed over the last nine, 10 days? What changed was – from what I strongly believe and what I heard – is that the NBA and the players’ association told Kyrie that, no, you can’t go.

Probably alerts the league if they leave the bubble as well. Big brother is watching.

That was my thought.  Everyone is making a pact not to leave the bubble so of course they will have a chip in something like this.  The Union will surely foresee this as well, though, so they should push that discussion to the forefront.  The Union will be in a conflicted position, though, where some players don't want big brother and others are more bothered by the idea of people leaving the bubble and putting them at risk (of missing significant games in addition to health issues).

Is this a real thing?

I don't know if that's real or not but i saw many people questioning why frontline health workers havent' had these.  Why is this the first we're hearing of them.

Probably because they are $300 a pop and were only being trialed this month.

Obviously didn't realize the second part but what's it cost a hospital for each worker that's out sick?   Seems like it would pay for itself in certain environs.

I don't disagree with that but it could be a matter of budget.  Lots of hospitals run on very slim margins and they may simply not have access to the capital needed even if the payback is there.

I'm not sure what the history is on there but I was seeing reference to them being trialed by casinos this month.  Maybe they've been out and proven already in other industries.
