NO, SAC and Portland are all 3.5 games back.  The Spurs are 4 games out.  The quote above is not clear on what happens.  If you are 4 games out, you are both "4 or more games back" and "4 or fewer games behind."

In the East, the closest team to Orlando is 5.5 games back.

When it ends might depend on how long series go. With everyone in one location, schedules can be adjusted on the fly.

They just had 4 months off unexpectedly. And will play for 2 months with a 2 month break then play again Dec 25th.

I hope so.  But if playoffs go to october 12, camp starts november 10.   so 1 month break for some.  granted only for giannis and kawhi.

Having older coaches wear masks but not the lower risk people around them seems like something driven by a misunderstanding of how masks work.  They aren't bullet proof vests that primarily protect the wearer.
