This time of year again when Squawkers put their stake in the ground and predict this team's record for the 2020-21 season.  Bear in mind that this season there are only 72 games scheduled so giving an 82 game record won't be super helpful.

Since we could end up losing some games given the unknowns currently at play, we will use the winning % of your projected record instead of the actual number of games if the season ends up being something other than 72 games.  So for the primary prediction, you can give either record or winning % (or both if you feel like it but if they don't match we'll go with your record and then convert that to a winning % if necessary).

For tiebreakers, please list:

1 - Projected Record (example:  45-27 or 30-42) or Winning % (50% = 36-36 projected record)

2 - # of All-Stars

3 - # of All-NBA selections (don't need to say which team)

4 - # of All-Rookie selections (don't need to say first or second team)

5 - Eastern Conference Seed (last year we were 14th)

6 - Expected W-L Record from Basketball Reference (final tiebreaker as the expected record usually is different by a couple of games for example being 18 wins last year vs 20 actual wins)

Here is my guess:

1 - 39-33 (54%)

2 - 1 All-Star

3 - 0 All-NBA

4 - 0 All-Rookie

5 - 7th Seed

6 - 38-34 Expected W/L

1.) 47-25

2.) 3 Allstars Trae, John, Capela

3.) If we don't get atleast Trae in their I'll be smh

4.) Not this yr but Okongwu may actually get some votes

5.) I originally said 6th but with 47 wins that could put us alot higher

6.) 40 -49

These two could use some clarification (actual seed for #5 and record adding up to 72 for #6).

Thanks, @sillent for inspiring us to get this thread going!

Cool you're welcome! Ok since my arm is pulled I'm going bold enough to say 3rd seed for number 5.

Oh ok I read that wrong but I expect atleast 40-32.

I'm going to be optimistic

1 - 43 - 29 (59.7%)

2 - 2 All-Stars ( Trae & JC )

3 - 1 All-NBA ( Trae - 2nd team )

4 - 0 All-Rookie

5 - 5th Seed

6 - 39-33  or 36-36 Expected W/L - Not sure what this means?  Expected wins based off point differential or expected wins before the season?

1 - 40-32 (55.6%)

2 - 0 All-Star (thought here is we spread the ball out and no one has huge volume stats + Kyrie back for a full year + Westbrook in East = Trae gets snubbed)

3 - 0 All-NBA

4 - 0 All-Rookie

5 - 7th Seed

6 - 41-31 Expected W/L
