I understand his impact on the offensive end, but on both ends? That's news to me. Unless they aren't talking about POSITIVE impact on both ends.

I didn't think we could do that, that's why I was trying to trade him.  If that's the case, I'm all for keeping Gallo on a more reasonable deal.

Would he also be able to be signed and traded in a format like this?  Or does it only work if he resigns with us?

I would think Gallo would command $12-$15 mil per in the upcoming market. I mean he'd sign with someone at that amount. We've had activity on him at $20 mil.

Yea, Gallo is tall and can shoot the ever living hell out of the ball. He'll get offered more than the MLE regardless of his age for sure.

I'm so impressed with what I've seen from Jalen on the defensive end this season. Heck, everything he's brought to the table.

Jalen has two-way potential.  I'd love to see him in the short roll when Trae is traped and then you have him passing it to a JC, Capela, Bogi, Huerter, Reddish, Gallo.  I'm loving this pick more and more 

Sharife, I wasn't the highest on him at 20, but getting his type of talent at 48 is bonkers.  The more film I watch, the more I believe he'll be one of, if not the, best backup point guards within the next two seasons. 

I can't wait to see these young guys in summer league.

I would have probably preferred Kai on draft night as I believe he would be able to play with OO and JC in the future.  However, Kai's floor is very low and he's very raw.   We are probably looking at  two years before he gets meaningful minutes. 

I believe Jalen will start contributing a little before Kai, but the long term fit if Kai hits would be better in my opinion.

Great calls by you.  I thought Sharife was gonna be something as well, egg on face.

Solo has such a high IQ.  I think the NBA community overstates defensive versatility a lot, there‘s no player who can deter a quick guard and a True C off a shot attempt, not even Bam or JJJ who most point towards.  I wouldn’t say Jalen can “guard” 1-5 but he certainly can “affect” 1-5.  And that’s plenty good enough.
