Mills is going to be NICE for the Nets. Harris is a better pure shooter, but Mills is a better overall shot maker and just a gamer. As a release valve he will burn teams that are too focused on their big 3. We could already barely hide Trae on Harris, you cannot hide him on Mills.

He is a big deal signing in my book.  He will play a key role in our rotation, especially while OO is out but even after he is back if he plays like I expect.

Yeah even still, we are talking 3rd string center playing in a very meaningful game and is the best player in the Afro league.  And the overall skill level is remarkable.

Question:  Does any one not on the Squawk remember that he is a Hawk?  If they even noticed at the time we signed him, they probably have forgotten by now.

Surprise!  Gorgui Dieng is a Hawk!  He's signed for the entire season!

While 0017 is out, recovering from surgery until the 1st of the year, Hawks really needed someone to fill in.  This is he.  Now, when Capela needs a rest or, heaven forbid, he must miss time with an injury or sickness, we have a very good replacement ready to play.
