I'm very confused by the total lack of logic here.   Guys play sweaty games, huddles, locker rooms and then they test positive.  Well everyone on the team is pretty exposed at that point.   It's just dominos falling.   The only sensible thing to do is send the whole team home for 5 days.

Anyway, lemme put on my commissioner's suit.

- Back to spaced seating, Screw you 1%ers that bought courtsides.  And, if I see anybody with the stupid mask on their chin, it's a 2 game suspension.  IIWII, mickie fickies.  Also, N95 masks all around.

- No lockerroom.  Sorry, you're gonna have to deliver your fake-a** Knute Rockne speeches via zoom, b*tches.

- Separate ground travel.  IIUC, air travel is actually safe(ish) so y'all gonna have to line up some other form of travel to/from hotels.  @Spud2nique it's time for you and I to start up our NBA Uber/Lyft service.

- Bubble-in-place.  Can't re-do the bubble but you can put a bubble around team hotels.  Therefore, no hotel access to anyone outside the team.  No visitors.  Lookin at you, Danuel House.  Again, IIWII

Put that all in place and we'll be fine by MLK day.  @bleachkit, the committee seeks your seal of approval.  Man the pandemic makes for strange bedfellows, don't it?

The thing is we're about at the point where everyone on the team will have had it.   The teams that got hit early got the benefit of postponements, teams like the Hawks got forced into the 'sign as many guys as you want you're playing no matter what'.   But soon, as other teams get hammered the NBA will go back to postponements.   I don't know that it's deliberate but we are sure getting screwed.

IIRC - The whole 'replacement player signing' was not a thing early on for those teams that got it early - like the Cavs game vs us that got postponed. The NBA/Owners agreed to this cluster after the 1st wave and the Hawks are caught in the undertow of this big wave.

How is there not more players coming out of protocols? Most have been out the 5 days. If the new protocols are not retro-active then we are getting screwed AGAIN by the lack of urgency and leadership.
