They have good spurts. But they just have really bad defensive awareness as a group

Trae with a horrible 2nd quarter shooting the ball, simply because he's forcing too many contested layups.

Overall, the team offensively played well once again.

Defense isn't bad from a percentage standpoint. But the pace of the game is actually keeping the Nets closer than what they should be.

 

Once again, that 1st half doesn't matter.  Gotta sustain it in the 2nd half, or decide they're going to play some defense.  67 points by the opponent would lead 90% of games in this league.  The 10 point lead is not safe at all.

If we can't stop them, we can't have any offensive lulls.

And Murray is 2 - 9 FG . . 5 - 5 FT . . . a Trae stat line from 2 weeks ago.

 Hawks gonna have to start getting stops or getting into the paint(someone other than Trae focing shit over the trees) otherwise this one might be a wrap.. No way our shooting will hold up like this in the 2nd half of a back to back........

They need to split up Hunter and Capela, and get another shooter on the floor.  Hunter and Capela shouldn't be in the same lineup.

Not like we're stopping anyone.  Just keep firepower out on the court.
