Moderators lethalweapon3 Posted July 11, 2012 Moderators Report Share Posted July 11, 2012 And the first VetMin off the boards is... The Brooklyn Nets reached a verbal commitment with veteran guard Jerry Stackhouse on a one-year deal worth $1.3 million, sources close to the process told ESPN.com's Chad Ford. The 17-year veteran played last season with the Atlanta Hawks, averaging 3.6 points in 30 games. Stackhouse spent the past season as a veteran presence off the bench for the Hawks. The Nets will look to him to be a veteran stabilizing force in the locker room more than the impact player he used to be on the court. Looks like the Nets are even less shy about spending than we thought. ~lw3
Mutombolievable
I can't believe he will make a million dollars this year.
Moderators macdaddy Posted July 11, 2012 Moderators Report Share Posted July 11, 2012 Definitely shocking. Why not just hire him as a coach?
Admin
Sure doesn't look like Stack has much left to offer... but good for him for getting that much money out of the Nets.
