I feel I was one of the posters with a more optimistic outlook on this year, but I have to say even I am completely blown away by how good we are and so soon. If we had, had a few calls and a bit of luck earlier on in the year we would be probably sitting alone atop first place right now.

What a win. A glorious beat down and the perfect sendoff for my last post game wrap for a while. I'm heading south for Christmas vacation. They got down double digits early but fought their way back and ten the rout was on.
1. Led by one Shelving Mackity Mack who couldn't miss - season high on points
2. Herr Schröder came of age in his first start - had a quiet double double 10 points, 10 assists and more importantly 1 turnover. That tricky sneaky little move on LBJ was a thing of beauty.
3. It was the Al show in the 2nd half - he abused KLove in the post over and over and over again, I think he just scored on him again.
4. Pero had an all round solid game and grabbed some timely rebounds.
5 The bench was on point tonight.
6. 36 assists - wow
7. We won the rebounding battle - yeah.
8. Baze is definitely getting comfortable on offense
9. Korver was held in check for tonight but his teammates picked up the slack.
10. Our defense started the run , glad we held them under 100
11. 9 3s in a quarter is that right.

 

Edit: Loved seeing Teague on the bench up and cheering on his teammates.

Payback is sweet sweet sweet.

This night cant get much better.  We just gave the Cavs a pink panty pulldown.  The Hornets blew a 15 point lead.  The Nets got stomped by the Raptors.  Wade dropped 42 and the Heat still lost to a miserable road team.  

 

Although, some East teams do need to start winning so Brooklyn ends up in the lotto.

The best part is Bud is still gonna criticize them tomorrow in film.

I'm a LeBron fan and all (which means I recognize his considersble drop-off) but that cherry picking sh@t with Love throwing full court passes is one of the main reasons his team has poor habits. That junk boiled my blood everytime they did it, but it just makes his teammates lazy. Bud would pull out a gun and shoot at our players if they pulled that cheap foolishness. He couldn't stand looking at it, he probably lit into their asses and implored them to keep Love off the glass. It didn't happen again after the early 2nd quarter.

I've got to give Bud and Danny a lot of credit. The Hawks under the prior regime had no identity(not one anyone would want). They have truly changed the culture of this team and given them an identity. Anyone that's ever tried to change the culture of a bad business team or organization will appreciate how difficult that truly is.

This team is like Chucky you can't kill them. This team is truly 12+ deep every player can contribute and plays with intensity. We are overwhelming people with our waves and waves of players. It's like a military offensive.

I do dub this team. "48 minutes of hell" that's got to be what our opponents think.
