We are going to lose games...but we were up 18 and held them under 30% shooting most of the game. I mean, even HS teams shouldn't lose games with those kind of numbers. What a way to lose...

Losing is OK, but not to the freaking Celtics. And especially not on an Evan Turner drive. 

 

So pissed off. Millsap has been really off as of lately.

Dang, that was brutal.

 

Oh well, losses help expose weaknesses and gives something for the staff and players to work on.  We're still the top seed and I still can't see any team besting us four times out of seven.

Actually, in the long term, I figure it might be good to be brought back to earth just before the stretch drive.

Seemed like the Hawks thought they had this game won, so didn't play as well in the second half. Luckily this loss can be a valuable lesson in that this Hawks team should never take a team for granted.

Another lesson in how you can't take ANY team for granted. Give credit to the Celtics who wanted it more. Simple as that. On to the next one.

We are starting to look like the first 15 game hawks.

I am furious at our team right now. We literally showed no interest in the second half and gave them that game. I mean just walked over and handed it to them. Not enough effort to keep them from offensive rebounds and our free throw shooting was horrible. This is becoming a  litany of the only real negatives on this team: we give up WAY too many offensive rebounds and our free throw shooting is horrible.

Not upset, good lesson for the team to not get complacent with the big lead against any team. We are ok, the team really needs this time off to rest up and regroup.

Antić gotta work that bench for a while. He's offensively regressing before our eyes. This is halfway through the season and he's still "slumping".... I'm no longer buying the size excuse on defense because Muscala can rebound the ball and hit shots. Antics seat needs to be immediately warmed.

I've been telling people that for a few weeks. Nobody listens until the losses start to pile up.

The defense was starting to slip before Thabo went down.
