pimp
With the next pick the Atl Air force selects Damian Lillard Born: July 15, 1990 (Age: 29-004d) in Oakland, California us College: Weber State University High School: Oakland in Oakland, California Draft: Portland Trail Blazers, 1st round (6th pick, 6th overall), 2012 NBA Draft NBA Debut: October 31, 2012 Experience: 7 years Lillard has already proven that he can lead my team to a championship .He led my hawksquawk fantasy team to the 2018-2019 championship Lillard is an explosive scorer with deep 3 range ,and will give Leonard more space to operate than he has ever had. You don't want to face this team in a close game. Both Damian ,and Kawhi are clutch in crunch time. PG. Damian Lillard SF. This is exactly why I went ahead and took my preferred PG. Last season the top 5 or more PG's were gone by the time it snaked around to me at the end of the 2nd round. Popular Post IheartVolt
The Flaming Flamingos are thinking big. We want our PF to be aggressive on the boards, the ability to drive and work inside on the offensive end of the floor, as well as being a young up and coming All-Star in this league with the ability to jump out of the gym. With our pick the Flaming Flamingo's pick John Collins to anchor our PF position. With Steph anchoring the PG position, John can continue to enjoy accurate lobs as he has become accustomed to and efficient passes as well. Moderators Popular Post lethalweapon3 Posted July 19, 2019 Moderators Popular Post Report Share Posted July 19, 2019 With the 17th Pick in the Second Round of the 2019 Hawksquawk Summer Dynasty Draft, Lethal Nas X selects: You’re not gonna need that cowboy hat where you’re headed, Kemba Hudley Walker (Point Guard, 6’1”, 185 lbs., Age 29 as of 10/1/2019). How about donning a patriotic tricorne instead? Either get-up you choose, with Lethal Nas X, you'll be able to take your horse to an Old Town Road somewhere! So, Kemba had himself exactly the type of season one would want in a contract year. A career-high in scoring, joining Joel Embiid among the league’s top-ten per-game scorers. A third-straight All-Star Game appearance, and a first-ever All-League honor. It’s why now, with the big payday Walker has justly earned from his new team, it’s time for him to regress, just a bit. How so? Playing all 82 games in 2018-19, Walker in his prime season at age 28 logged the third-most minutes on the floor in the League. He lofted the league’s second-most shot attempts, and it’s not hard to guess who ranked first in that department. On his prior team, Walker was not only Option A for the offense, but Options A through Z, understandably so when one scans the rest of that roster. Scoring went up, but some efficiency went down, particularly as a maker of plays for teammates. Kemba’s 5.9 APG, a shave below a career-best of 6.1 way back in 2013-14, isn’t enough to stand out among the elite point guards of this era. Heck, you try to get to 8+ assists per game with a squad that ranked 26th in FG%. Absent a worthy interior draw like Embiid, while guiding a predictable array of jump-shooters who can’t drive, defenses keyed in on Kemba, and he made the best chicken salad he could, keeping his buzz-kill of a team in playoff contention up until the closing weeks of the season. Walker’s once-steady turnover rate inched upward, while his perimeter marksmanship and offensive efficiency took a hit. But there remain signs that his peak-season still awaits. He has cut in half the proportion of long-range two-point shots, once the bread-and-butter of his early-career repertoire, over the past four seasons. The signature handle he once used to drop defenders and jack up those inefficient shots is now carrying him closer to the cup, and he has become a significantly better finisher in the paint, specifically from 10 feet in. While his three-point percentage ebbed last season, there is little wonder as to why. The proportion of his three-point makes that were assisted by teammates has plummeted from 60 percent in 2015-16, to 51, 48, and 44 percent in the past three seasons. Those teams increasingly could ill-afford to have Walker playing off-ball, or even off-court. In his new place of business, Kemba will seek to rely on a set of wings and forwards who still appear capable of someday reaching their potential. And while he has had pivots with All-Star resumes come and go, Walker has never had as tantalizing a talent in the post, at both ends of the floor, that he will have with his All-League co-star, Embiid. On LNX, look for Walker to become less of a hero-ball scorer, emerging into more of the rock-steady ball-handler and playmaker his team will need to contend in the years to come. Kemba remains healthy and, unlike many of his contemporaries, he has not been weighed down with extended years of playoff-level basketball. But that factor is about to change as he learns to do less, with more around him. Together with Embiid, look for this duo to compete in the Summer Dynasty League with the beasts of the East! The best “21” since Forever, @capstone21 has been PM’d and has the floor! ~lw3

That really goes to how the GM wants to look at it. Several ways to go about it. Take BPA or start filling slots until you have a starting five. Other things I have seen: Vets = win now Vets/Youth mix = win now and in the future Youth movement totally for the future The last one is the hardest from where I sit simply because you are bound to have some reaches/bust. We look at each others teams and make comments sometimes. But one, two, three years from now when you look back, the great picks and bad ones will be glaringly obvious. I think Spud uploads a spreadsheet to NBA 2K and runs a simulated season sometimes also.
