Maccabi Tel Aviv prospect Deni Avdija might not be the No. 1 pick in the upcoming NBA Draft, but quite a few teams appear to be intrigued. Avdija hosted the Warriors on Oct. 22 in Atlanta, where he’s currently based during the pre-draft stretch. The Warriors are far from his only guests, though. According to sources, the list of teams who have talked with Avdija also includes the Hawks, Pistons, Cavaliers, Spurs and Bucks. Those first three teams are expected as Avdija suitors. The latter two, and let’s face it, the Bucks especially, are interesting names.

The Spurs and Bucks???  @NBASupes....are any of these teams involved in this potential  Hawks blockbuster?

and on queue...those nice folks up in Boston use their media puppets to get ahead of the coming Gordon Hayward fiasco I alluded to yesterday...

Nobody was talking about Hayward opting out. This was about getting Hayward to waive the trade kicker in order to negotiate with the new team.

I can't go into what I know about Hayward or the Hawks due to the confirmation and the CBA. I will say this, the Hawks definitely aren't all in for 2021 and are not afraid to cash in for 2020.

He's probably expects like 3 yr/85 mill if he opts out. He's also 30 and has had quite a few injuries. But I like his game.

I do like his game, but I'd have to think about that price point.  3yr/$65- 75mill with the low salary cap, I'd be very happy with.
