Man, Martin is such a physical, tough player. He consistently powered through contact and shot contests from a tough Miami Heat defense and finished around the basket. Martin doesn't have the flashiest handles or quickest first step, but he can change speeds when he wants to and use his functional strength to ward off defenders. Martin was picked No. 51 overall by Atlanta in this year's draft, and they should feel good about the choice after this performance.

Rumor has it that he has signed a regular, multi-year contract to become our 14th player.  Hawks may sign a 15th player, or they may not.  It's not mandatory.  WOW!  Hawks keep booth picks on the roster.

This is another one from after the  game. 

It’s very ironic how we drafted Cam’s hometown rival after we just traded him. The way they describe each other says it all. Martin says Cam looks effortless on the court. Cam says Martin plays with a lot of heart. I’ll take heart please.
