If I recall it was originally brought up in the context of whether he would want to come to Atlanta as his first choice or if he and/or his wife would want a less diverse community like in Indy. We can all speculate about whatever we want with things like this but this is a player who chose to play in the NBA and so playing in big cities or with African-Americans players is the norm. Hard to believe Hayward would make his decision on the racial makeup of the city. Can't imagine that is factor for the Hawks at all. Anything at this point will be limited in terms of teams and players. He said there are players available and are currently being shopped for future assets. It seems more obvious than ever, TS is invested in the core 7. I am pretty sure JC and his agent will truly start extension talks soon.
