Giannis will be a Hawk

I’ll say it now. Hawks are getting Giannis. It might take a combination of players (Collins, Hunter, Huerter, Capela, picks) but I think  he will be ours in a year or so.

A couple things have to happen. The Bucks have to not win the finals, and Trae has to continue to recruit harder than anyone.

My reason for being so confident:

Trae and Giannis are 2/8 players represented by Jeff Austin (Octagon).

Its gonna be easier to recruit Giannis. I really feel like we have an inside track.

 

But...please don’t sign an aging ailing Curry as a ring chasing three point specialist..(he’s also a client of Jeff..and his brother Seth).

Do any of those guys play on the same team? Thats me being pessimistic but can definitely dream a little dream called Giannis being a Hawk. Maybe not such a little dream really though. Trae is truly charismatic so I think it is within the realm because of him.

You really want to rent Giannis for February-April? You really think Giannis would want to stay in ATL, and would re-sign?

Free Agency July 2021, there are too many competitors from bigger cities, and more accomplished, more iconic franchises... and moreover, it's too attractive these days for an elite player who has several years of career left to find a short contract from one of those teams attractive.

This is over the top for a great poster like you @Spud2nique....too much optimism on this one! Giannis will not be a hawk win or lose In the ECF or Finals, bucks are setup for championship runs right now. The hawks are no where near contending status, nor is many other East teams outside the bucks.

Lol with Middleton and Lopez? yea, Giannis is salivating. Comon JTB, the new NBA is about what can be long term. Giannis is looking at the landscape of the league and based on young players, assets and youth, we got it better than anyone and the Freak is gonna see that.

Octagon may be the agency, but that's not Trae Young's agent as @NBASupes said.   Trae and Cam actually share an agent Omar Wilkes?

There are 30 teams in the league so those are decent odds I like them. I’d say about 12-15%.

He’s good but he’s one guy while we are grooming like 5 guys. Plus he’s a vet. Trae/Cam/Collins/Hunter/Huerter. Not sure how flexible the Bucks will be going forward.
