Nah.  I think it's just Solo is a good communicator and understands the game.  Thabo was a great defender.   Much better than Solo.

Thabo could shut people down cold just off of his defensive talent.  Solo more of a defensive coordinator helping to keep the team's shape.

Solo shoots a heck of a lot better. I mean Thabo became better under Bud as DMC and others did (or being around Korver) but I cringed when Thabo set up for the 3. It would take a few minutes.. 

Solo just lets it fly in a natural stroke so even if it doesn’t go in, you feel better about it as a fan.

Thabo had him on D for sure though, that Swiss army knife was like a Rondo/Pat Bev type in your grill defender.

whoa... with that shot release. Wow that’s insane. But why do I feel better when Solo shoots it, makes no sense.

Solo read this and said F that my shot prettier than Thabo. If he hits like that we are in excellent shape. I still like his release much much better than Thabo’s slow release. Hope he keeps it up!
