Korver was useless against big wings but I see your point. You are talking team defense as he matures in general. Possibly but he's playing with Trae so those chances go from possible to not a chance.

I'm also talking about defense against SFs (and SGs).  I don't ever see him checking PFs.  Probably "big wings" get defended the same way (i.e., maybe you are putting a OO on them if they are stud, etc.).  That would be guys like OO, Bey, and JJ given our current roster.

AJ has a good frame for his age. Defensive instincts aside, having a body that can handle the grind will help.

So,  AJ is very devout in his faith...found this interesting.

And I struggled with porn addiction. I struggled with mental battles in my mind where they left me restless at night and I stayed up at night, you know, just crying.”

The Atlanta Hawks forward revealed how God delivered him from all his struggles before joining his aunt and others to pray for church members who were also struggling.

On 08/25/2023 our teenager turns 20!  Such a long NBA season.  He hit the wall.  He will be better prepared this upcoming season.  He's had a lot of growing up to do.  I believe we can now say, "Mission accomplished!"

Atlanta has a load of youth.  Some old vets have been added.  Quin Snyder and staff will have this engine humming when the opening bell rings in this season.  Who knows, our GM may yet make a move or two before then.

AJ is my guy, but you have to give to get.  If we need a 3rd star, and someone is legit offering one up for AJ.  I'm listening. I would be hard pressed to do it, but I'll say it again...everything is negotiable. The only difference with AJ is that I'd gamble a little longer than I would with the others.

All bets are off once it looks like they're about to make the "leap."

ps AJ’s highlights make me drool. Possibly the best pick at the slot we were given in the history of the Hawks franchise. We never hit on any picks. AJ was a mid first, that’s crazy, GM’s missed big time. maaaa Boi! Don’t take away what we have @kg01..

I recall, I think @Spud2nique, posted something about AJ having found Jesus and that being a big part of his life.

Some people these days, who want the space to have their own beliefs, tend to frown upon guys like AJ having the space to have his own beliefs.  But I've said too much ....  don't can'tsell me, squawk!
