Some people will say the contract was an overpay but hey, it allowed us to get Murray. All in all, from the moment we inked that contract to the moment we traded it away it was a great move that provided Hawks fans with plenty of great (and some funny) moments in between which make the Gallo era in Atlanta a major success imo.

WE cannot resign him for one year of the Spurs cut him.  If they however trade him to another team and they cut him - I think we can.

Dude was a walking bucket, especially when we needed it during our playoff run. Appreciate the instant offense you got that Lou couldn’t give us!

Not my boy Gallo    It had to be done and was a needed piece to make us a possible championship team.  He was the man and was a awesome professional and player for us.  Nothing but big respect for him and without him im not sure we go further than any other hawks team has ever been.   You will always be a loved Hawks favorite along the lines of a Paul Millsap in my eyes.  Paul the better of the 2 for sure but both were great guys you would love to have on your team at any time it could happen and they always made you better as a team as a whole.
