No, league rules prohibit the Hawks from resigning him for 1 year.  IF he is traded to another team and clears waivers, I think the Hawks would be eligible to resign hi,

Love Gallo. He was probably our best free agent signing given that he played a prominent role in our best season ever and then left and facilitated potentially our best acquisition in recent years.  He did everything you could ask for in the time he was here. Salute to you Gallo!

He would have to be trade tomorrow to another. Then waived in the new league year.

It was worded differently.  I thought you meant that we can sign him for a year. 

because you also said

IF he is traded to another team and clears waivers, I think the Hawks would be eligible to resign him.

Another team.. I took as being the Spurs.  So if he was traded to the Spurs and clears waivers is How I was picking that up...

It looks like there are 2 or 3 Hawks fans on that row, with 2 of them ( a boy and a man ) yelling GOOOO as Huerter picks up that loose ball and throws it to Gallo for the dunk.

 

When Gallo comes back this season, I need to see a 1 minute video of all of his great shooting.  But the last video they show MUST be of this play. 

One of the most maligned defensive players in franchise history, made the best defensive play in franchise history.

I'm going to miss him a lot.  I think his personality was huge for this team.  But Hawks are going to miss him on the floor even more.    We need bucket getters.   We just lost one of the best.
