I see things differently...

  • PG:  Young, Holiday, Cooper or Mays
  • SG:  Murray, Griffin
  • Sf  Hunter, Bogi, Holiday, Brown
  • PF:  Collins, Harkless, Johnson
  • C;  Capela, OKongwu...

Because of his mobility and because I have watched him flourish at the position, Bogi plays SF BU next season.   I think because of his size and shooting ability, Griff may start off as BU SG.

There will be a stagger with Young and Murray.  I think that when Trae takes a seat, Murray will stay in with the 2nd unit.    So our wings will be incredibly competitive.

I disagree of course.

Mays wasn't issued a QO And I wouldn't pencil in AJ as the backup SG. That belongs to Bogi.

I think we need a big body to defend big centers like Hassan Whiteside, Moses Brown, Thomas Bryant or even Demarcus Cousins.

I would also sign a backup PF like Roby or Lamarcus Aldridge.

and we need a wing defensive stopper, I liked DiVincenzo, I don’t see anyone worth signing now.

honestly if he comes cheap, he can kinda fill the gallo role, when our offense gets extremely stagnant and need a mismatch post-up bucket

I'm not a fan of bringing Melo in but it's true that our biggest weakness right now is there are zero bucket getters in the frontcourt.

I think i may know the delay there

Honestly though even though Melo is pretty washed, he singlehandedly beat the Hawks enough times that i don't want to see that.   He should go to the Nuggets.

True.  Gotta be sure not to take shots away from Brunson.  Gotta pump his numbers to justify the overpay.

So is no one sad about Mays possibly not returning? Kid is a solid basketball player.

I am assuming Coop returns, then possible Martin signs on a Two-way deal.

Again, all we are missing on the depth chart is a 3rd center. And if we are greedy, then another scoring threat off the bench.

I don’t think he’ll ever play here.  Hope to see him find a niche in someone else’s rotation.  I’m still high on Cooper’s talent.  I have no expectations for Martin but don’t feel as bad about him being stuck in the gleague like I would about Mays.
