you and @thecampster have been very quiet lately. 

I haven't gotten anything other than hardly anyone is available. Mainly just JC. That's that. The only teams that will be sellers will be tanking or rebuilding their draft collection. The days of teams who underachieve like TOR, ATL, and others selling is slim to none.

It sounds like after what happened with Nate when he took the interim job they don't want to risk being in that position again.  Remember when the entire forum and our fanbase was begging them to remove the interim tag on Nate?  You could tell they weren't sold on Nate even after our success, and it looks like they had good reasons to hesitate signing him.  

If our search for a new head coach is limited now, they probably don't want to risk another second half surge with an interim coach that they don't intend to bring on as head coach.

I've already come to that conclusion. Even if we miss on Wemby, we still get a premium asset.

I think Nate has lost the team. It’s unfortunate for sure but every coach has a cycle unless they get a championship under their belt early (Kerr, Spolstra).

The clear fact: this team is underperforming their talent. A lot of that has to do with our assistant coaches. Nate’s son isn’t probably cutting it but he’s been there on the bench as a cheerleader.

 

Now is the time to make changes as there is plenty of body of work.

JC, Dre, and Nate got to go.

Why do the Hawks want to keep him to finish the rest of the season? That's fool hardy.

This is just going to breed more toxicity. Players know he doesn't want to be here now and won't be back next season.

Just rip off the band aid and install the interim (whoever that is) and let the chips fall where they will for the rest of the season. No need to soft roll this.

Team doesn't look happy playing, fans aren't happy watching.

 

Let's get it over and done with and let 2023 be whatever it will be without Nate.
