I like him! We don't have an offensively gifted big. It'll be interesting to see what Quin can turn him into.

However, I like him.   I think he has great potential and like I said in another post, he seems to be farther than Lively offensively (IMHO).   He needs weight, experience, and some great coaching.   I think we can help him.

We are long overdue for an impact 2nd rounder.  I think the last time we traded up for a 2nd rounder was Bruno.

My guess is:

1.  He lacks experience.
2. He needs to add weight to play the 5 in the NBA.
3. He doesn't have a machine pushing him. 
4. His rebounding 

Dude has a lot of potential on the offensive end of the ball.   I didn't watch enough to know but I would guess that on rebounds, he is easily moved out of position or he just doesn't have the timing.   I say you lock him in the gym with Clint for a few days.   I hope he's a sponge and that he loves the game.   If he is, with the talent he already has, he could be very very good for us (down the line).

You can see in the highlights that he can move his feet exceptionally well. He just needs to slow the game down mentally.

Looks intriguing and his highlight video pops. That’s all you can really ask for in a 2nd round pick.

There is a long history of second round big men who become impact starters or rotation players.  The highlights look great here and I'd expect he is a pure development project but I like the profile and risk/reward.
