I'm sure Brad will have something up soon on the cap ramifications.  This is a straight salary dump though.  Atlanta gets nothing of value in this deal.  At least they got a 1 for Kevin.

JC value just keep declining until it reached salary match + 2nd round pick value. Anyone surprised by this has no f'n clue.

Thing was, there was nothing out there at this time to give us an asset for JC.

So, basically we let a good young player's value erode due to piss poor coaching under Lloyd and Nate, and didn't give that young player a chance to improve his value now that a real head coach with a real system is in place.
