Official Game Thread: Hornets at Hawks

Just a quick thought: It's weird how often we play with three wings on the floor. I mean it's not like they are our best players and you can't sub them out. Thabo playing the 4 is ok but it isn't the answer. We have three more PF on the bench. They must feel disrespected. And if you don't play them just cut one like Kelly and get another PG.

Just now, Dnice said:

Hawks flew in from Toronto, not Portland.... what an underwhelming game.

I suspect they will remain inconsistent until they make some moves. They don't really control games because they're not playing well on either end on a consistent basis. The ball movement is better as of late, but you still need guys that can finish and make shots... There are not enough of those guys on the roster.

Dennis' freethrows and Millsaps gamble messed this up.

At least it was the second game of the season Baze played up to his contract.

And Bob Rathbun was right about the refs killing our momentum with that double technical which was a no-call.

Our bench lost the game in the second quarter. Good effort by Baze, Thj, Millsap and Howard on the boards but we lacked execution at clutch time, too many isos, quick threes and free throws missed.

Dennis has had only 1 bad game in the last 10-12, dont blame everything on him.

Seriously, screw Zeller and the refs. That double technical shifted the momentum again. A frustrating loss nonetheless. We have to be more consistent and improve the defense.

Dennis doesn't win you games. He might have good stats, but the mediocre record speaks for its self.

Well, back into the bottom half of the east.

Just a half step slow all night.  Left too many open shooters for the Hornets.

Dennis froze up at the line, missing 2 of 2.  SE division leaders came here and left

still in the lead.

Missed 7 free throws and 16 threes.
