TANKWATCH GAME OF THE NIGHT:

Nothing of a tank-tastic nature as far as head-to-heads go, and no plausible Tank Bell upsets are out there. So, Minnesota, this is no time to give New York some false sense of mediocrity! You Wolves play the 76ers in Philly tomorrow after leaving MSG with what had better be a win. This is the last time we need to be talking about you in this thread! Handle yo business!

As for the Knicks, the Trey and Timmy Wolverine reunion isn't getting its just due.

TANKWATCH GAME OF THE NIGHT:

Phoenix at Orlando: Or just take your pick, on this Tankerrific Saturday! The Pistons try to keep their fading playoff hopes alive by returning home to host the bare-bones Bulls. The Lakers not only have to end their four-game skid, but have to keep the Grizzlies -- the Grizzlies! -- from eliminating them from the playoffs. On an epic tank roll, the Hornets (with Dwight back) will try to use the Mavericks to remind the media that Charlotte's not eliminated yet. But for my lack of money, tonight's big-banner headline is Elfrid's Revenge. Lame duck coach Frank Vogel's on thin ice down in the Tragic Kingdom. His Magic embark on SEVEN consecutive TankWars, and his former floor general is back to remind everybody where the real Mickey Mouse operation is in the NBA. Here's to the Suns ending their ten-game slide with Payton, back in Orlando, playing like his hair is on fire... not necessarily a bad concept!

TANKWATCH GAME OF THE NIGHT:

Boston at Sacramento: Nothing really appetizing from a Tank perspective after this Cavs-Nets game wraps up, so we'll settle for whoever shows up for the Celtics against whoever plays for the Kings, in front of whoever can make it to their Golden 1 Center seats in time for the 6 PM tip.

TANKWATCH: Don't nobody tell Timmy about the 60 Minutes feature on Giannis! Knicks trying to pull one out in DC with 4 minutes left!

Clippers beating out the Raptors late, which isn't the best Tank news...

TANKWATCH GAME OF THE NIGHT:

New York at Charlotte: Will the Hornets keep their Tank Roll, and their playoff hopes, alive? Will bringing Nic Batum (Achilles tendinitis) back into the fold help, or hurt? Can the Knicks continue taking their Wiz-beating show on the road, and reduce the Hawks' Tragic Number versus them by a digit? Can they settle on a point guard starter? Or at least a point guard finisher? And why is Jeff Hornacek such a perennial target for mistreatment by his own players?

TANKWATCH: As unwatchable as the Suns have looked tonight (how you take Hawks-Kings off the schedule but leave these guys on, NBATV?) they've somehow crawled within 3 points of the Celts at the half. Gar Heard, come help!

TANKWATCH GAME OF THE NIGHT:

Dallas at Sacramento: Can the Mavericks end their five-game losing streak on the road, against the Garrett Temple and Z-Boless Kings? And might this be German(e) to the discussion?

TANKWATCH GAME OF THE NIGHT:

While Hawks and T'wolves is the game of most TiTanktic proportions, we do have a Creature Double Feature, with Brooklyn in Orlando right now, and then Dallas at Staples to face the Lakers. Go Mavs! Make it two in a row!

Orlando's David Baumann has been waving the Tank Flag harder than anybody down there...

...but Vogel is Never Nervous. Check that, he's going with Never Nervous...
