TANKWATCH: Dubs have been looking more human lately, 1st without Curry, then without Klay. And now...

...guess who they get next week? Take your time healing up, Jaylen Morris! Kangz down 2 at the half in Oakland. UMBC sapped the energy out of me so no way am I staying up for that!

TANKWATCH GAME OF THE NIGHT:

Dallas at Brooklyn: I don't Love New York, but I could come to like them a little better if their teams pull out wins at home today! Losers of 3 straight, Brooklyn nearly tripped up the Sixers in Philly last night, but they get back up I-95 to await the arrival of a Mavs team that played well in Toronto yesterday before succumbing to the Raps in OT. Player availability for Coach Kenny's crew, though, is a Net negative as Caris LeVert (knee) is questionable, while...

One borough over, at MSG, can anybody on the Knicks, losers of 9 straight, slow down the Hornets' miffed man in the middle, Dwight Howard, and ex-Knick Willy Hernangomez? Enes Kanter is at least pretending like he wants to.

I'm calling it now... Our Long Regional Nightmare is Over!

Ring the Tank Bell for Memphis!

Good job, Brooklyn and New York as well! Let's get it, Sacramento!

Phoenix is dominating the Warriors F squad. Hopefully, the Warriors will get their act together for the Hawks.

TANKWATCH GAME OF THE NIGHT:

Memphis at Brooklyn: The outcome of this game takes precedence over that for Chicago at New York, or Detroit at Sacramento, since the Nets' pick goes unprotected to whoever's left standing in Cleveland.

DeMarre Carroll (career-highs of 13.6 PPG, 6.7 RPG, 2.0 APG) has been at his Tankbusting best, shooting 43.1 percent on threes since the All-Star Break, and a season-best 46.7 percent from the field this month.

Across the river, do the Bulls stand a chance at MSG of keeping the Knicks from winning two-straight? When Bulls fly!

TANKWATCH GAME OF THE NIGHT:

Detroit at Phoenix: We're not so much interested in putting the Pistons' record officially out of reach of the Hawks'. But dare the Suns catch Detroit tripping on their second day of a road back-to-back (last night's win in Sacto was their first road win since January 10), and prevail in their first home game at Talking Stick since January 31?

Jay Triano's outfit will probably have to get 'er done with a starting backcourt of Elfrid Payton and Troy Daniels, as Devin Booker remains questionable to play with an allegedly sprained hand. TJ Warren (run over by an Uber) is also doubtful with a knee sprain. There's a remote chance he'll play in this game, but 2017-18 incumbent center Alan Williams is back on the roster and will play soon.

As for Detroit, we're still waiting to see whether they'll shut down Reggie Jackson, before he's healthy enough (this week) to return to action.

TANKWATCH: Toronto tips off in Orlando without DeMar DeRozan, who will sit with a bruised thigh. The Magic get back Aaron Gordon, who starts after missing the past two games due to a concussion. Good luck, Magic!

TANKWATCH GAME OF THE NIGHT:

Charlotte at Brooklyn: Can the Nets catch some Bugs, and win their third straight? The Hornets (Tragic Number: 5) still think they have a shot, somehow. Coach Cliff is still going for it, and Dwight may have some reinforcement in time for tonight.

Coach Kenny acknowledges that Jarrett Allen has hit the ol' rookie wall. There's only one other thing that's not functioning well around Netsland right now.

TANKWATCH GAME OF THE NIGHT:

Memphis at Charlotte: Dwight just flew home from Brooklyn and, boy, are his arms tired! Despite Howard dropping 32-and-30 on the Nets last night, can Tyreke Evans and the Grizzlies confound the Hornets with both teams on the second night of a back-to-back? J.B. Bickerstaff, who used to be an assistant under his dad with the Bobcats, returns to Uptown as a head coach, trying to justify sticking around Memphis for next season. Marc Gasol (illness) is expected to sit this one out, trading places with Tyreke, who missed last night's game (DNP-Rest) in Philly. Oh, and there's this:
