Sorry, Orlando. Y’all had y’all’s turns already.

 

TANK WARS! It’s the final head-to-head Tank Battle for our Atlanta Hawks. They won’t have another chance to tack onto another Tankompetitor’s win tally after today’s game against the Orlando Magic (6:00 PM Eastern, Fox Sports Southeast and 92.9 FM in ATL, Fox Sports Florida).

I’m on travel today, but you all know the relevant particulars, ahead of this game. We already know the Prime Objective. Hopefully, our Competitanking Hawks do, too! This one's not for all the marbles, but it is for a LOT of ping pong balls!

This is our most important game of the year.  It will take a concerted effort.  We need to focus all of our mental energy on completing this loss.  Bud needs to have his tank face on—he may need it for an inspirational halftime speech.

The Magic made a huge mistake in 2016. They traded away Victor Oladipo #2 pick and the rights to Damontas Sabonis # 11 pick for Serge Ibaka. Now I like Serge for what he does for two contenders ( OKC and Toronto ) . But in hindsight, the rebuilding Magic got fleeced by Presti.

Back on topic, this is a big game.

Someone said the other day that Orlando's schedule was tankproof.  They had 6 straight games against teams with less than 25 wins.  Orlando responded "hold our beer"

Gosh Orlando is horrible.  The Hawks are trotting out a g league squad and Orlando is loosing.  Although they are making a small run.

Bud is trying everything!  He even put John Collins at small forward but Orlando just stinks so bad even Plumlee is abusing them!  Hawks wouldn't lose this game if they played with 4 the rest of the way.
