While I think it's due to the teams we played v. More than anything, Collins has been terrible so far this preseason

Collins even looked a lot faster tonight than he did in the preseason

Should have had 20+ if the hoop didn't spit back two shots that were halfway in. He had one step-back jumper on the block that had both me and Bob Rathbun like "damn".

You can see the offensive versatility in Collins' game that he worked on in the offseason. Teams have heavily scouted the PnR Lob with Trae - I don't think they attempted that play last night.

They have already adjusted to what the defense is giving them. For being so young, that's impressive.

1st double of the season for JC with many more to follow.

Collins looks like he might make the jump.  If he and Trae can keep this level of play?  whoooooaaa

I was most impressed by the maturity they showed.  Neither demanded the ball or forced anything.   Love it.

That step back is sooooo nice. Also, the three-pointer he drilled and that other that was 7/8ths of the way in before defying gravity and popping out were PURE.

A 5 that can shoot and defend is going to unlock collins' game. Last yr Len was on fire and dedmon was money.

Now that our centers are not really spreading the floor, collins has been forced to be the stretch big in the offense. 

Instead of him being frustrated, he's making a huge impact on defense and thats what I'm most impressed about.

In a dream world, KAT would be the perfect pairing for him and the team
