Yeah I expect them to crawl outta their holes and blame the Knicks for their poor predictions.  The only dude who’s opinion I value is Lowe.  I’m not sure what he predicted but at least he would clown himself if he was wrong.

Ugh why do I have ESPN on?  Here they are with the huge headline “The Next Curry?”  If you really break Trae down you’d see he’s his own man.  Love Steph to death but the passing gap is massive, same with off ball movement.  And Trae’s deep shots are more Dame-like.  Them people lazy man.

One of the fun games every time is the Trae and Dame matchup. They go at each other with a vengeance. Really fun to witness.

Trae> SCurry

I know I’m the Curry and Warrior hater but peep this.

Curry made the playoffs in his 4th season, Trae in his 3rd.

Curry first playoff vs Nuggets (Warriors won in 6)

Curry : 24.3/9.3/4.3/3.5 (turns)

Trae first playoffs vs Knicks (Hawks in 5)

Trae :  29.2/9.8/2.8/3.0 (turns)

Trae average: 4.9 more points/ .5 more dimes/1.5 less boards/ .5 less turnovers

Oh also the +/-

Curry vs Denver:

Game 1:  Lost +8

Game 2: Won +15

Game 3: Won +13

Game 4: Won +21

Game 5: Lost -3

Game 6: Won -2

Trae vs NY:

Game 1: Won 0

Game 2: Lost  +5

Game 3: Won +9

Game 4: Won +17

Game 5: Won +16

BTW: How do you calculate who had the better +/- series between them here. :er:

Trae was all positive in every game and neutral in one with 0, Curry had 2 negative games which the Warriors split.

On paper, it looks like Trae wins this matchup also, not sure though.

I can’t front he got the leg up at similar points in their careers after yesterday.  I can’t even crap on the Warriors’ lineup that season either their top 6 were solid (Jack/ Steph/ Klay/ Barnes/ Lee/ Bogut).

Ya I recall Jack being huuuuuge in the development of Steph, they didn’t have Iggy yet though he was ironically on the Nuggs. Lee was an all star and Bogut was legit for a while, specially after learning the ticky tack sneaky ways to set moving screens with his big frame to give Steph that extra .01 like he needed it. 🤦‍♀️

Again I hate comparing such a specimen like Trae to anyone, even Trae hates it but it’s fun to think about player of the past..

Trae has the:

heart and desire to win of ZEKE

craftiness and playmaking skills of NASH

scoring prowess and swag of IVERSON

In the end he’s OUR:

RAYFORD TRAE YOUNG

May he retire a Hawk.

:drinks:

I sure hope so
