Should have had at least one. The dumbest decision by the league ever was to suspended Amare and Boris Diaw after Robert Horry threw Steve Nash into the scorers table. Might be the most ridiculous, unfair and rote enforcement of a rule in sports history. Like anyone is going to just sit still as a statue when your team leader is thrown to the floor. And no fight even erupted. The league could have just let it go. But no, they had to hand Pop another title on a silver platter. That will always stain David Stern's legacy.

PHX should have kept Joe Johnson. That was their Harden trade of that era. As I've said with the Hunter trade, most of the time you trade a two way wing, you never get your money's worth with the ROI on the other end. Keep them and pay them.

Trae isn't getting the credit he deserves due to things out of his control. He can't control who he was traded for. He's actually playing really well but it's getting overshadowed by all of this other noise.

Exactly, and you KNOW Cam would blow up somewhere else if we gave up on him.   This kid is going to start off slow but he still has a lot of promise and this learning on the job will pay dividends for him maybe even as early as January.  Want to save this post see if I'm right.  Hunter and Cam are both gonna be really good for us.

Luka IS NOT that much better than Trae...Hes PLaying a real defense tonight...If it werent for FT's, hed have 4 points..Mavs have had an easy schedule so far. hes great though. No hate. JUst sayin

There is no argument that can be won saying Trae is a better player today. That said, we are missing key players and we aren’t the Mavericks. Carlisle is a great coach, they have a “championship” culture. They also have guys who make open shots, Trae loses a lot of assists on missed wide open threes and our bigs missing easy opportunities at the rim.

Trae is never going to be a triple double machine, he’s a small guy. I think he will be a 25/10/4 guy who can control the game. He could score more than 25 ppg (and might based on offensive pace), but we need other guys to score too. He already is and will continue to be a clutch player. That bodes will for future playoff success.

You really think 10 assists per game is his peak? He is already averaging 9 a game with these scrub bigs and shooters we have on the team now. I think he can lead the league for many years in assists if he has the right personnel.

Stockton/Nash numbers in assists (12-13 APG)........

So......... 25 PPG, 13 APG, and 4 RPG are MVP numbers.

I hate that people just refuse to criticize the guy when there are rightful critiques to be made.

He's petulant and a ballhog.  Not fun to watch at all.
