I was in a nightclub and the DJ announced that Aaliyah had passed.   All you heard was a big gasp, with some females crying.  The guys were DEAD SILENT.  DJ played a 30 minute set of Aaliyah songs, then tried to get the club back in the right mood, but it just wasn't the same after that announcement.

Her funeral procession was beautiful.

David Bowie, Carrie Fisher, Vanity, Gene Wilder and Alan Rickman all left us the same year as Prince did. Am sure many more but remember just wanted that year to end so much and we start from scratch. So much amazing talent and folks I followed lost.

Sad day for sports fans and Laker fans(Kobe was my favorita NBA player of all time)....but an even sadder day for his family and close friends that lost him and his daughter Gianna......I am heartbroken and still numb!

- WWIII almost breaking out between Iran and USA

- Earthquakes in Puerto Rico and various parts of the world

- Coronavirus . . . which will get MUCH WORSE in the coming weeks and months, before it gets better

- and now we lose an icon in Kobe.  Scale wise, it's not on the level of the previously listed, but the emotional impact around the world is much wider.  Kobe is trending #1 worldwide and #1 in just about every country.

Definitely need to push the reset button on 2020, and blow on the inside of it like an old Nintendo cartridge, and start this year all over.
