The problem I have is certain folks chiming in acting like everything is different now even though they know it isn't. Don't mind me. They know I'm talking to them. Ironic, it’s like you’re talking to yourself and trying to work it out. Let me know when you get there. ps I’m an a$$hole but I’m not wrong. 1

marco102
Team is hitting shots and playing better defense in the forth. That's about it. They looked exactly like the Lloyd team as they blew that 19 point lead.

Moderators macdaddy Posted March 12, 2021 Moderators Report Share Posted March 12, 2021 Everything isn't different. Rondo still sucks (although a little less to be honest). Bogi still can't shoot...yet. 2

RedDawg#8
If Gallo was on the floor, we don't come back to win. He knocked down a big three and his threat helped open up Snell for the winning shot

Popular Post Thomas
What seems like common sense to most of us was not to LP. Best interior defender and rebounder on our squad should be on the floor late. His positive impact outweighs the possible foul line issue. Best rebounder in the league as a matter of fact.

And Capela’s shot blocking has dramatically improved. Some people overlook this aspect because he looks like he should block shots but that hasn’t been the case for most of his career outside of this season. Capela’s block average first 6 seasons of his career: 1.4 BPG This season: 2.3 (good for 3rd in the NBA) Who knows maybe Tree Roll, Deke, Theo Rat and others seeped into his game subconsciously.

Yeah he really screws up the bad guys offense in the paint. A long cry from the recent Alex days huh. Fun stuff.
benhillboy
As someone who has lost a good amount of bread betting on NBA games (me and @TheNorthCydeRises need some help) it’s basically turned into a contest of getting threes up and canning them sh*ts. The contending teams are kinda separated by defensive rating but that ain’t us until Dre gets back and Cam gets his head screwed on straight and we can get back toward Top 10. Since Nate Dogg took over we’re getting up 41 attempts per game and making at a .398 clip. Those numbers can beat most non-elite teams on any night, whether on a B2B or having to face Bembry instead of Van Bleet. Fluctuating rebounding, turnover, and assist numbers don’t seem to hurt or help much in the grand scheme like they used to but the Hawks’ terrific FT shooting does help a lot in conjunction with the three point shooting. Our opponents so far are averaging 35 attempts. I didn’t really focus on the Magic or Raptors games but versus Miami there was a clear emphasis on guarding high above the arc. He’s gonna make shooting specialists put the ball on the floor and pass into mistakes. I can’t really recall any fouls committed on three point attempts by the Hawks these past 3 games and that’s huge. Nate is clearly mining the tracking data, trying to get his guys great looks in their favorite spots while allowing the opposite from the opponent. He also knows that when he can get his highest usage and minutes player to make hustle plays it’s always a 48-minute fight for the other squad.
