We don't know how he actually looks on the NBA level, because he doesn't play at all during meaningful minutes.  There have been plenty of guys who people believed were scrubs, that actually played decent, once they got a legit shot to play meaningful minutes.

Jalen deserves at least an opportunity to see if his athleticism, combined with better players around him, can turn him into an energy guy.

As far as JJ, I know it's difficult to look at a coach like Nate, who repeatedly chooses to play all of these players over you. And it's to the point he doesn't even bring you to the main roster most nights. How do you trust a coach, who doesn't think you're at least as good as half of these bench players Nate puts in game after game? smfh

He's also the offensive focal point in college park.  With the Hawks, he's a role player who could put all of his effort toward energy plays on offense and defense.
