He did shoot 36.5 % in 2020/2021 season and 38% back in 2017.  It is not like he is going to get a lot of playing time, maybe 12mpg at the most.

Seeing Kaminsky listed as 7-0 is weird. He was listed as 6-10 coming out of Wisconsin... I just double-checked that. Had always considered him a PF more than a C, but maybe that's not really that important.

Here's a new tidbit, too... for me at least... if he sticks, he will be "the other" Serbian (technically speaking) on the roster.

I hope so but there is a huge gap between a 38.2% 3pt shooter and a 34.8% 3pt shooter.  Frank has shot 33% 2 of the last 3 seasons whereas Gallo shot >40% 2 of the last 3 seasons.  (Note SSS applies to FK's 2021-22 numbers).

Definitely a good application of the phrase "poor man's" Gallo.

True.

After playing essentially the entire season his first three years, the four since have been 47 - 39 - 47 - 9.

That might even be the more compelling reason you don't guarantee his contract, and you bring at least one other viable vet big to camp.

So… I thought about what I knew about him.

Big who can pass and shoot but not athletically gifted (being generous) and pretty slow as far as mechanics are concerned. Smart player. Role player.

Did I miss anything?

If what I think of him is accurate, I’d like him to be our backup centerrrrr’s..
